Withdrawal Policy

Right of cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The period for withdrawal shall be fourteen days from the day,

on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods, provided that you have ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and these are being delivered as a single consignment, or
on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods, provided that you have ordered several goods as part of a single order and these are delivered separately, or
on which you or a third party nominated by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last consignment or the last part, if you have ordered goods which are delivered in several consignments or parts, or
on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have acquired physical possession of the first of the goods, where you have concluded a contract for the regular delivery of goods over a specified period.

You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://theharzdistillery.de/vertrag-widerrufen/ exercise. If you use this online function, we shall send you an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by email) without delay, with information on the content of the revocation declaration as well as the date and time of its receipt.

To comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient if you send the notification of the exercise of your right of cancellation before the expiry of the cancellation period.

Consequences of cancellation

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this repayment.

We can refuse repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period.

We will bear the cost of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking their condition, properties and functionality.

Special Notes on the Right of Withdrawal (Exemptions)

The right of withdrawal shall not exist or shall expire prematurely in the case of the following contracts:

for the delivery of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiry date would be quickly exceeded;
for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery;
for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual choice or designation by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

Note on vouchers

Voucher (credit for redemption in the shop) are not considered digital content. The standard right of withdrawal described above applies to them unchanged.
